I'm required to buy all white leather shoes for my nursing program. I can't decide what the best options out there are.

Any idea what shoes I should get?

I'm totally lost.

Thank you!

I just bought Nurse Mates Dove shoes in white. My program is not so insane that they have a problem with the little blue heart on the side. They are leather uppers and pretty flat, simple shoes, but very supportive. I've worn them for work before and they lasted me about six months on a busy hospital floor. Since they're not fancy they're also comparatively inexpensive as nursing shoes go.

I have only ever worn nursing shoes. Tennis shoes do NOT give my back the support it deserves. I've always found NurseMates, Alegria or Dansko have white leather shoes in their lineups, they've all been good to me!

I would highly recommend Dansko or Sanita clogs. They are a bit pricey but well worth every penny! Your feet will thank you :smug: and they will last past nursing school.

I have the same ones. Highly recommend it. If budget is a problem go to Payless they have white leather sneakers without logos on them. My program doesn't allow perforations in the shoes, but I've seen people in clinical with those and nothing was said, so you take your risk. It's hard finding perforation-free leather shoes cause it helps your feet breathe.

I'm a Skechers guy and found their Keystone work sneaker which comes in all-white.

Unfortunately not available in wide width though.

I wore all white nikes throughout school and I'm on my second pair now at work. I really like them. Like the solid leather by the toes in case any fluids are spilled on them.

I have a pair of all white skateboard shoes in my closet from my Mayo Clinic days, but they are so bulky and heavy compared to what I've been wearing the past 5 years, I will cringe putting them back on
