I've got two questions that I would be very happy if anyone could help me out with. Does anyone know where to find good scrubs "that fit guys well" on the internet? A direct link would be awesome.

Also.. Do you tuck in your scrub tops or leave them loose?

Thanks for any help.

personally, i want to wear "emt" style pants (black or navy) with a "male patterned" top and yes i prefer to wear mine untucked.

I used whatever the school offered but the "Cargo style" which is similar to what EMS wears is probably the way to go. You can NEVER have enough pockets IMO. As a Paramedic turned R.N. I'd go w/ the cargo's if I had to do it again.

They stock Laundau for men, which fit pretty well. I like their "uniform advantage" brand, which are softwashed and come in tall sizes. Personally, I hate having tons of pockets all over. I like a chest and a back pocket only. I keep a lab coat around to hold all the extra crap I carry.

I both tuck or leave untucked, depending on the scrubs. If my top and pant are the same color, I tuck, otherwise untuck.

I'd go with the cargos too.

One can't have enough pockets - besides, I find sticking stuff into the cargo side pockets to be more comfortable than having it elsewhere on the body...

Aviator Scrubs have hands down the most pockets I've ever seen for both scrub tops and bottoms. A little pricy, though.

Our school uniforms are Cherokee brand. I despise them. How you like your scrubs to fit will ultimately determine what works best for you. But if I were to recommend anything it would be Dickies scrubs for men, especially the sandwashed ones. My partner wears these and they are uber soft right out of the box not stiff or itchy like many are til they are washed a hundred times. They also do not have an elastic waistband and do not slip off your hips resulting in that "Knee Crotch Syndrome" I despise so much about my school uniform. These you can pick up on the allheart website at:

I also highly recommend Professional Birkis for clogs if you are in the market. They do not come in white so I can't wear them to school, but I bought a pair and they are the most perfect pair of shoes I have ever had on my feet.

I leave my scrub top untucked, personally.

Hope this helps.

I talked to my dean and she said that our class would be ordering uniforms from Dove.com. I checked out the site and it looks like all white, which I'm not particularly fond of. I would much rather just wear srubs. Even matching scrubs, but oh well..

I don't know if ours will be completely white. Maybe add some embrodery or something, like our school's name.

But all white is what I might have to deal with! Me, maybe a couple other guys, and close to 30 women!!

I totally prefer scrubs as well. We have a unisex uniform that I guess differentiates you from "official" memebrs of the hospital medical team.

Always more professional for a Male RN to tuck-in scrub top, IMHO. Yet, I realize this is not always the case with the ladies that have those scrub tops with dual pockets at waist level.

I wear my scrubs untucked.

I buy material from a store and have my sister make my scrub tops.

"John Deere" and Flames are much better than hearts and butterflies.

My school uniform is also white. But we have dark blue trim and collar, with the school name embroidered on the pocket. Better than having to wear the smock that the girls do.
