Also The State Of Ca. Has Approved The College Networks Program For Lvn-bsn, I Meet W/ That Guy Tomorrow....we'll See!!!ive Got To Get This Done Somehow!!
Beware of institutions such as the College Network and RUE. The College Network and RUE are nothing more than overpriced publishing companies that sell materials that will eventually lead to a degree from Excelsior or Indiana State. You can complete the degree without ever needing to go through a publishing company. Good luck!

Remember, The College Network is not a nursing program. They will sell you materials that lead to a BSN from Indiana State University. You can earn the online LVN-to-BSN without buying anything from The College Network.

I talked with a guy who was about to sign up for the lvn -rn at WCC. He said it is an 8 month program that costs $33,000. I thought i read an overview of the program that stated it was $15,000 and that wcc would be offering the science prerequsites within the next 5 years. i am confused.

Also, any info on the lvn - BSN from Indiana State University? cost, length, difficulty???

It is 2-3 years in length. People who are taking it state that if you can pass your tests in LVN school, then you most likely can pass your tests for the program at Indiana State. It is very expensive, but I don't remember the precise cost.

I know this topic is on Western, but to answer what I know about West Coast is that a friend went a year ago and tested to get in and was told it was $50,000 I don't talk to her anymore, but I have another friend that went a month ago and was told you need to have a 3.0 GPA from your VN school, besides testing to get in. Now if that's not enough to turn you away, maybe the cost of $60,000 will. I've tried several times to speak to someone, but all I get is a recording to leave a message with never a call back. I get this annoying flier in the mail almost every month from them about "LVN TO RN STAT" as their catchy logo. I've returned it for info. and again no call back. I don't have time to go to the school in L.A. bc I work to much, but it would be nice to get someone to call me back.:flamesonb

pre=req classes are about 19,000 if you need all 9. then its 34,000 for their rn program.

Hello Big B...yes They Set U Up W/pre-req Classes, No You Picking Your Classes, They Have It All Set Up, They Have Given Me Credit For 5 Of My Lvn Classes From Florida. Since You Live In Sac, Call And Ask To Speak W/tashika Floyd, I Just Cant Say Enough. This Process Of Trying To Finish Has Been So Hard, The State Makes It Hard For Lvns To Finish, And The Schools Around Me In Napa Have No Room And Wont Even Look At An Application Until You Finish All Pre-reqs, And Then There Is No Room In The Classes To Take Any!!! The Hours For Wcc Are 4:30-7:30. Mon Thru Thurs. I Hope You Look Further Into It, Good Luck! Mabey We Will Be Classmates!!!
