Yeahhh, for once I'm glad I'm stupid..from my no money for school post.

I was so upset over not getting any financial aid that I got out my paperwork last night and reread it and found out that I got turned down for the OIG grant, I was thinking that they were one in the same grant. I recieved a paper stating I could get $867.00 a quarter fall-spring, then a few days later received a paper stating we made to much money to qualify, so I thought that I didn't get anything, that they reversed their decision for some reason, turns out that I have had federal pell grant all along, but not the OIG grant, I didn't know there was 2 seperate grants applied for, yeahhhhhhhhhh, I am very excited, but guess what fall quarter has already started, if only I would have looked 2 weeks ago, grrrrr, but at least winter quarter will be great. Just thought I would share my joy.. thanks so much for all your great advice in my former posts of not having any money for school, I know I will need way more money than $867.00 a quarter, but for right now I will take it, at least get my prereqs started. Thanks again.

Yeah, financial aid can be very confusing. Great news! It is a tough journey but a worthy one!

congrats..... even though you say you will need more then that alomst $900 that is a great help....!!!!!!!
