Select the school with the cheaper tuition. Whether you pay $28,000 or $4,500 in tuition, the blunt truth is that you'll eventually end up with the exact same LVN license. It is best to start your new career with little to no debt, and the school with the cheaper tuition will accomplish that feat. Good luck!

Saveral students in my class, drive an hour or more to class everyday. Some carpool, while others drive it alone.

Good luck to you

I agree with Commuter. Different prices -- same License. Go with the cheaper so you're not up to your eyeballs in debt. That's money you can use on gas, your family, uniforms, etc. The drive may be long, but the road out of debt will be even longer.

thank you all for your opinion on the matter!

i too believe that i should go to the one that is cheaper...only that the private school was trying to push me to go there, of course!!!

hearing from all of you who are going to lvn school is the advice that i really wanted...so thank you!!

I got accepted into a LVN program 50 minutes away, i believe it's def worth it because my tuition is only $5000....and i already have 2 people that i'm gonna be carpooling with....so thats my suggestion, find u someone to carpool with and that will save you some gas money

My LPN school was almost 100 miles away. I enjoyed the drive. It was the only time the entire year that I could sit, reflect and just chill with great tunes on the radio. :) Good luck to you!
