I'm considering going to the school, does anyone esle go there? If so do you like it? And lastly how intense is the program?

Thanks.

Linda

Hi Linda,

I was wondering the same thing. I live in south jersey and recently found out that they had a nsg. program. I was interested for a friend and my dgt. Let me know if you find anything out.

If you live in the area (I live in Mt Laurel) how about BCIT Medford? I can vouch that their program was excellent. Yes, I had to wait a year before starting but the cost was low

I am graduating September and it is very intense,my class is the 1st to actually complete the whole program at the Mt.Laurel site, and I have to say that we were the gunea pigs but it seems like after talking to some friends who for one reason or another needed to repeat some classes they have told me it is more organized now...yes you heard me some need to repeat classes because they are hard, out of a class of 80 we are down to 46 I think ,and just a few more weeks and I am outta of there....now ask me if I am ready for the NClex and I have to say NO:(

I forgot to mention even though there were 80 students in my starting class we were put into 2 classes of 40,our clinicals are 10:1,and when the class ends up lossing some students they may combine your class.

and it is very $$$$ and there are some other fee's not included in tuition.any other questions let me know

all nursing schools are intense IMO

i recently started at this school. i have to say, before starting here i had completed all of my pre-requisites at the county college and got tired of waiting on the RN list. i decided to go the mt. laurel campus and i'm somewhat disappointed. maybe it's because i already took A&P, but my lowest score on a test is a 95%- i wouldn't consider myself a genius- but i don't think many other people in the class can say that's their lowest score. they provide too many opportunities to improve your grade, (ie- 40 point extra credit assignment?!) how is that going to insure that you know the material? i guess it all boils down to NCLEX. anyway, some of the teachers i've met are good, others on the other hand... and BTW what someone else said about BCIT, i would definitely look into it if that's the real price.. my tuition here is just over $23,000..

Good luck with the program,I just did an exit interview and there has been changes for the classes behind me but I wish they would have done some interviews for coming into the program, looks like the new class is over 100 students which is crazy.

I have an exit Hesi today and with the previous Hesi's I was surprised how well I did I guess I know more then I though I knew and I hope this is true with the NCLEX...

1.5 days and counting until the end of classes:yeah:

hi im in the mod 5 lpn class in lincoln tech but i am in connecticut.a little insight about our program......it is very intense!!!! and full of stress but it is completly do-able.i graduate in 3 months god willing.my only and best advice is to focus hard! study hard! and just know there is no time for a personal life. you must take it seriously and give the course the respect it deserves.stay to yourself, dont worry about helping your friends pass its hard enough to do it on your own...and besides no one will help you if you start drowning-if you dont believe me you will see-people get very shady when you have success and they dont .pace yourself and do not fall behind in the reading.id be glad to help you with tough subjects as im sure the material is the same.please dont take this as a discouragement........im being as honest as i can.you can do it if you give it all you got,and in the end there is relief.good luck to you...i wish you well
