How are you prepping for your Jan 2015 LVN school Start date??

  • I am taking e-mergency twice daily to boost my immune system (better start now! CANNOT be absent for nursings school!!!)
  • I have started pricing personal voice recorders for theory
  • I have started SPRING CLEANING on this month off!!! Nothing is worse then studying in a house where clothes are everywhere!! I truly study better when I have an organized home
  • Ive already gotten my 12 in planner and starting planning1!!
  • I have finished my master promisary note and loan counseling for my student loan
  • researching WHITE shoes because thats what I need for school!

What are you doing to prep for the start of school???

Wow! This really makes me feel like I am so unprepared. Thankfully I already have some white sneakers (AllWhite). I havent even begun my spring cleaning, and who knew to think of my immune system. Thanks for posting this! Ive purchased a lot of packaged meals though!

I start Jan 2015 as well. I have been doing much cleaning as well. Organizing closets and spaces to make it easier for me to maneuver when I have limited time. Preparing my family to do for themselves more.

Reading medical terms books and online! Reading on nursing book s, Anatomy books, etc. Cleaning my house, getting cars expected, etc

you may want two recorders so you can sort out different classes better, i get mine off ebay.

get two pairs of shoes when you find some you like because they will be discountinued when you go back for more,

have some snacks in your backpack and care as school vending machines are pricey, if they ever work,

get there early on first day and get a good seat up front, the front row students usually score higher.

those classes are so long and go so slow you may not need those recorders, 90% of your test will be off your notes.

get a book that is last years edition off ebay dirt cheap

I love having a medical terms dictionary. if you have to learn a ton of words and symbols, those recorders are good to record yourself talking and you can listen to them laying down, or driving to school.

cramming dont work in nursing school.

Use black ink only

watch out for the math,, always put a zero in front when using a small number like, 0.25 or they will count off.. and teaspoon questions can be tricky,,

Have good folders to put all your stuff in.

lots of free nclex stuff online.
