I loved reading last years group, thought I would start one for this year.
I guess I will get us started...
1: what date you start/ school name
2: how long is your program
3: why are you becoming an lpn..
4: how much is your program
5: how many lecture hrs, and clinical hrs

1. My class starts after Labor day the school is Central School of Practical Nursing in VA
2. 18 months
3. I decided on LPN because the program hours works best with my family life, I can finish in 18 months and I would like to work in hospice, doctors office or outpatient surgery center. Plus, I have a 2.42 GPA from the first time I went to college that prevents me from being competitive to get into a RN/ASN/BSN school. I am still working on my science pre-requisites in preparation of a bridge program if I want to continue in the future.
4. My program is about $10,000 total start to finish
5. 866.5 lecture / 655.5 clinical

1) Start: July 15, 2013
2) 11-month program
3) I'm becoming an LPN because: (1) I can be nursing in a year, and (2) it is the most sensible, financially-advantageous (in regard to scholarships, etc.), time-effective, and balanced way for me to become an RN. I'll bridge from LPN to BSN fairly rapidly, if all goes as planned, but I plan to enjoy being an LPN all along the way!
4) Program cost: Just under 6,000, from my estimate(s) of all fees, etc.
5) I'm unsure of the number of lecture/clinical hours, but I know we start clinicals two weeks into the program!
By the way, I believe I will learn more doing my nursing education this way, as I know LPN programs are "clinicals-strong."

While it will take longer this is want works for me:)
