Help w Littman stethoscope colors!!
I am finally getting an upgrade on my stethoscope and I cannot decide on the color! I was wanting the pearlized pink but I have had a pink in that shade and it got marked up by pens and is turning shades of gray. Since I just into the nursing program it was said it didn't matter what color so I'm having difficulty deciding between the Raspberry regular or Raspberry w rainbow finish? Is it burgundy-marroon or deep pink/purple. Anyone own the Littman Raspberry color w rainbow finish? Any regrets? Anyone with the pear pink? Regrets. Please help :)

Best shoes for cnas nurses??
Hi congratulations on your new job!!! As a medical assistant I work 12 hour shifts, when I first started out I purchased so many shoes because I wore them out quick. I find it strange that your not wearing scrubs, it would be much more comfortable to be doing all your tasks but I recommend having at least 2-3 different pairs. I prefer the Nike running shoes or the Reboks sports since I have never liked the white leather shoes recommended by the school. Also don't wear the same pair everyday ,if you wear the same pair everyday you wear them down quick. It might seem a bit expensive purchasing 2 different pairs but the shoes will last much longer if you do. Also, purchase some shoe gels and rotate those around that way your heel doesn't form to just one shoe. Trust me this makes a huge difference. I work at a small family owned practice so I work 12 hour shifts 5 days a week, so I am on my feet a lot!! Good Luck on your job!

Working Full Time and a Student Full Time
It can definitely be done!!!! It won't be easy though, but so worth it!! I used to have 2 jobs M-F 40 hours and Saturday and Sunday 20. Plus taking 16 Credits. I recommend not starting any new relationships, ask for family support and a good healthy diet.
