I did 16-hour weekend double shifts on and off for about 4 years. I had several pairs of imitation Crocs that were rather comfortable, but my preference is to wear running shoes such as Nike Reax, Adidas or New Balance.

Crocs? Oh no you need something comfortable such as sneakers with some type of cushioning and support in them

Then I will be sneaker shopping today! Thank you. I can find some real comfy sneakers way cheaper than crocs.

In my opinion , cheaper doesn't always mean better or most comfortable . When you have a chance to save up , invest in crocks or dansko, they are expensive , but my dansko last abt 2 yrs.. Just a little FYI ..

I got nurses shoes comparable to dansko but half the price at JC Penney's. I don't remember the brand & they feel fine. I do prefer tennis shoes though.

After extensive experimentation (Danskos, Nurse Mates, Sanita) I'm finally happy with the Columbia Sportswear Conspiracy - upgraded with moldable insoles (also from Columbia). Comfortable feet, but I could run for my life if I had to. Also, these shoes have the Outsole waterproofing.
