Need license

Nurses LPN/LVN

Hi! I am a new member. I graduated nursing school in 02 but never took my nclex. I took a job right out of school doing some private duty work. I am now needing my license and dont really know where to start. Any help would be great!

Wow, that's 14 years ago. Even if your state doesn't have limits on how much time can pass between graduation and taking the exam, there have been a lot of changes to nursing. You're definitely going to need some kind of refresher if not repeating the program, just for the sake of updating your knowledge even if it isn't required by the state. Basically, first you need to find out the requirements set forth by your state's BON, and then go from there.

Exactly.. at the very least a refresher. And finding what your state board of nursing allows in regards to time allowable from time you graduated til the time you're still eligible to sit for NCLEX.
