LPN wanting to work in California

Hi! Does anybody know how I can go about getting my LPN from BC, Canada transfered over to work in California?

Hi,

Im not sure how you would get your licensed endorsed in the the US, but Im sure it's easier than getting a license in Canada when your from the US because I've tried.

You need to ask the California Board of Practical Nursing. There is a link to their website. At the top right of this web page is a button "Links". Roll your mouse over that button and a drop down menu appears. Click on the link for the Boards of Nursing in the drop down menu. You will find a link to the California Board of Practical Nursing there. If the information isn't on their website, there should be a telephone number there for you to call and an address to write to.

i was wondering, does the bvnpt give you the license number online before you have paid the $100.00 license fee? how soon can i check online to see if i passed or is it really a month i have to wait?
