That's great to hear! I also just past NCLEX with 85 questions (graduated in Dec 2012). I had my first interview for a position on a new swing bed unit. They said they really liked me and wanted to make me an offer... however, during the interview one of my questions (obviously) was the pay/benefits. All she said was " they were very competitive" and she never told me what the starting pay would be and just kinda dodged the question.. I wasn't too impressed. Just seemed kinda shady to me. So they told me they wanted to make me an offer and get me put into their system, blah blah blah... However, yesterday I get an email stating that I was " regretfully not chosen for the position...". What?!! I have tried calling them but she is always " in a meeting". Should I just move on?? I have applied at a ton of hopitals/nursing homes and that was the only call I have received.. everything else states they want atleast 1-2 years experience. How am I going to get the experience if no one will give me a shot??? Sorry, I kind of got off on a rant.. Im just soooo discouraged right now!

Congratulations Nicki...

Laura sorry to hear about you not getting the job..but never ask about the pay or benefits during an interview. Let them bring it up. Wish you both the best of luck!
