Hello everyone!!!

Nurses LPN/LVN

Published

Hi, i'm new here and would like to know if there's anyone here from Detroit, MI that could maybe help me...I'm 21, single mom of a 3yr. old and am lokking to get into nursing..I'm considering LPN or ASN....I would preferrably like to get into an LPN program so that I would be able to be making money to support us while going for my RN...Does any one know of any LPN programs in this area?...maybe through any hospitals and such? I'm looking into becoming a nurse and would like to know what facility in these areas have the PN courses...any hospitals/schools that train?..I can't seem to find any. Also how much approx. does a lpn make in this region?..If you are a RN/LPN and work in a nursing home can you tell me the average work hours/days? any info would be just amazing

I eventually want to become an RN and then proceed to becoming a CLNC(Certified Legal Nurse Consultant) but would like to gain prior knowledge before entering RN and a way to support my family sooner...any one with any input is greatly appreciated..Also does anyone know or currenlty are an CLNC?....I would love to hear how your business is progressing and how you came to be where you are now!! ThankZ Everybody!

WannaBe,

Welcome to Allnurses. I'm not from MI, but I thought I'd send you this link which contains a list of approved MI nursing programs. The LPN programs are on the second page.
