becoming a registered Practical Nurse in Ontario Canada

I am a PN student at the Philippines. I am planning to be an RPN in ontario soon after i graduate. how would i know if the PN program that i am at right now is accepted in Ontario? and what if they don't accept the Pn program that i finished, what will I do to be able to write the CPNRE?
pls help. i'm so confused.

The only way you are going to find out is apply to the province and go through the process of application of foreign trained. It the process will take a few months and you have to take the exam in Canada and I believe it it like the RN exam and only done three times a year

Overseas applicants are assessed on an individual basis and experience is usually required. It is not a short process. Moving to another province can involve up to six months of paperwork and wait time.

Practical Nursing programmes in Canada are two+ years long and involve over 50% of the training time being spent in facilities. First year university arts courses are included. Some provinces have programmes for overseas trained nurses to help them adapt to the Canadian system. Most of these nurses are bringing years of experience with them and are often registered nurses in their country of origin whose education is not adequate to be an RN in this country.

The exam is written three times a year. You may write a total of three times if you fail to pass on the first attempt. Three failures means that the nurse in question has to return to school for retraining or reconsider her career.
