any lvns being used as techs

i dont mind working as a a tech if they are short but out of the 3 days i worked last week i was a tech for 2.it just seems like they dont even bother to call the PRN techs they just schedule me without even asking.am pretty easygoing and believe in teamwork so i do what needs to be done.it jsut seems like they are taking advantage.

Arent they supposed to let me decide if i want to work as a tech or get cancelled that day?is this happening to other lvns too and what to do about it?

ive decided not to log in until i see the if theyve scheduled me as a tech so i can leave .is it abandonment if i havent clocked in but am in the building.am in texas....

no i am not per diem,i have been therew 6 months and no one complains about my work.they have problems keeping techs and i dont know why because the job is simpler that nursin homes...i think its time to move on to anothjer job.id have liked to stay 1 yr but thats not going to happen this time
