Any 8-5 LPN/LVN jobs out there?

Nurses LPN/LVN

I feel like these stressful 12 hour shifts are ruining my life. I feel stressed when at work and when I get back home thinking about going to work tomorrow.

I wish I could get paid much less but at a less stressful 8-5 type job. Anyone know where they hire lpns/lvns with about 6 months experience for an 8-5 job?

I'm moving to the area in 3 weeks and I am very interested!!! I've been an LPN 6 years moving from Jersey. I've worked everything from Subacute, long term, to peds homecare.

its mainly 5 8hrs, 4 10 hrs, 3 12hrs...

i currently work 7-5p 4 days a week.

ilike it

Where do you work??? Those shifts sound great!!!

I work rehab in a LTC

Our shifts are

6:30-2:30

2:30-10:30

10:30-6:30

I think we work for the same place!

I've only worked M-F ever in my nursing career and love having my evenings, weekends, and holidays off!

There's always hospice. I've talked to LPNs who do it and they like it because they make their own hours.

I am a LPN and have only worked at one place where I worked 10 hour shifts and it was my choice because I wanted a 4 day work week. I have worked in a private practice that was M-F 8:30-5:00 and I could work on Saturday mornings if I wanted for extra money but it was only for a max of 3.5 hours. I am currently a Pediatric Nurse Case Manager and I work 8 hours and before that I was an OB Case Manager and worked just 8 hours a day.
