After passing the nclex pn what is next? I took the nclex pn california. Just paid my $150 initial fee. Using my checking account. Even paid an express priority mail because I live in NC but took the CA nclex pn. But check after three days they havent even withdraw the money yet from my account. My question is are they going to send me my liscence? And I even check my name on the bvnpt website for online license verfication still hasn't appear yet. I wonder why? And my pearson vue account is still "deliver successful" even I already got the letter from the BON ca that I has passed the test. :-(.

BVNPT is backlogged by at least a month or two. Did you get the pass letter (guessing so if you paid the licensing fee and the application fees). Why apply to CA if you are living in NC? Just curious...

It will say delivery successful and nothing more in Pearson Vue. Pearson does not update once licensed.

As the previous poster mentioned, the BVNPT is dealing from backlog from four to six weeks ago. Therefore, a few more weeks will elapse before your check is cashed, and you probably won't be receiving your hard copy license for another six weeks. Good luck to you.

Yes I got the pass letter already. 1. Is there anyway I can get my license number? I really wanna start working now. 2. Can I do that? Eventhough I dont have my hard copy yet? I am checking out my name on the bvnpt website it is always "no records". :-( please help.

No, you cannot get your license number now because you do not have a license number yet. The $150 check that you mailed to the BVNPT is intended to pay for your license. After the California BVNPT cashes that check, they'll issue you a license number. However, it will be another four to six weeks before that happens.

Are you currently in NC? If so, you cannot legally work in NC with a California LVN license. You will need a NC LPN license to legally work in NC. If you plan to work in California, be advised that the LVN job market there is rather bleak with unemployment rates nearing 50 percent for new grads.

Yes I am in NC. Thank you for answering all my questions. I guess I have no choice but to wait. Anyway my NCLEX RN is coming up too this November. I just took the LPN to see if how will I do more or less in the NCLEX and how is the test style and what to expect on the test day. Thank you
