Fall 2013 LSU program...anyone else out there?!

Interview went pretty well! Now I wait. Good luck to everyone interviewing today.

I interviewed last Saturday! Wasn't anything like I expected but I think it went pretty well. Does anyone know what the time line is now? Like how long until acceptance letters are sent out?

From what I heard end of March beginning of April. I've read some of the other forums and it looks like 2nd round of interviews are scheduled for early March. Good luck to you!

At the end of my interview on Saturday, I asked them how long should we expect a letter in the mail and they told me middle of April to early May since they still have to do the second round of interviews in March. So much waiting! I'm just trying not to think about it!

Specializes in ER.

As an LSUHSC nursing graduate, my best advice is to be as patient as possible. The process can be very slow. And the timelines definitely vary so I'd keep that in mind. Good luck though guys! It's a very good school. My graduating class had a 98% NCLEX pass rate!

Easier said than done, I know, but patience is key! We had interviews in September and October last semester and didn't find out until early December. Oh and by the way, don't freak out if others get their acceptance letters a week before you! I anxiously waited a week and half after people started getting accepted and I was prepared for the worst and ended up getting in.

Hey Chin05! I think we had our interview around the same time(Feb 16 @ 9am) and I was just wondering how long your interview was. I felt mine was kind of short but it was b/n 20-30min. I'm super anxious and nevrous for the results....Can't wait till May

Mine was about 20 minutes or so. I was interviewed by 3 males! Intimidating by itself but they seem pleased with my answers lol. I think that was rather standard for the time though. There were dozens of ppl for the 8am interview and for the rest of the day I believe they had dozens more. Did you get tough questions? I'm doing a million things right now to try to stay distracted. I may become clinically insane if I start thinking about an acceptance letter.

The questions weren't really that tuff. I definitely could have elaborated on some things but I was too nervous. I'm trying to stay distracted as well but am failing miserably!

I picked up hours at work and started boot camp in the mornings so I'm up before Jesus, too tired to think about it at night and too busy to think about it during the day. A bit extreme but when I worry or become obsessive it's never a good thing lol

Hi All!

I received a phone call in early February and was offered an interview date for February 16th or March 16th. I live in Florida and wanted a bit more time and will be attending my interview on March 16th. Can anyone offer any insight with regards to their interview and the type of questions they asked. Anything will help! I will be driving overnight so I hope not to be too tired. Thanks!
