Does anyone know if Norton Hospital/Kosairs offers tuition benefits to their staff? I can't find anyting on their website about such a benefit although there are tuition benefits if you are not a nurse. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

I last worked there nearly three years ago. At that time they had tuition reimbursement. You paid your money, brought in your final grade and they reimbursed your tuition, and I THINK, your books. They did NOT pay lab fees, parking fees, etc. I did not take advantage of this but a couple of the girls on my floor did.

Thanks for the info! Where are you working now if you don't mind me asking? Know any good places to work in the Louisville area?

I currently work for Norton Healthcare (not as a nurse). It is an awesome place to work and would recommend it to anyone.

You are eligible for tuition reimbursement of $2500 a year after 6 months of employement and approval from your manager (this isn't usually a problem).

If you are a nurse they will pay for your CEU's and they have a large variety of other benefits as well.

Also Medical, Dental, Vision are VERY reasonably prices and of course they have a 402(b) stock option.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
