I am working in U.S. in Orlando Florida. I work as a Nurse and also do part time on my own. There seems to be a shortage for qualified Nurses in my field.

Do you know any hispital who do spinsorships right now? What hospital do you work to?

Im a USRN, but my nursing board is in saipan, do they accept nurses without experience. I will start my volunteer experience on monday in East Avenue Medical for 2 months is that enough?

So are you just volunteering you time ( no pay?) or are you employed as a new grad? The new grad preceptorship program is about 6-8 weeks, so you are good if after 2 months you think you are not ready to be on your own don't be afraid to tell your preceptor they may give you a couple more weeks to orient? Don't be afraid to ask questions, always ask questions if you are uncertain. Good luck.

Moved to the international forum

Retrogression is still in affect and hospitals probably reluctant at the moment to sponsor and wait 5+ years and looking at the Florida state forum nurses are struggling in places to find work so you may find it is more lack of employers employing nurses rather than lack of nurses applying for jobs

Hello,

I am recently graduated in nursing in a public university in Brazil and

I just arrived in the United States with the purpose of working as nurse here. Now, Iam working as au pair im Maryland.

And I'm in need of help because I have many doubts. Could you give me a support?

And I would like to do a preparation for getting a nurse's license.

If you require a work or immigrant visa allowing you to work in the US then you will find you have a long long wait ahead of you due to retrogression and you can not change your status to work as a nurse, however starting point would be meeting the state requirements for International trained nurse

okk!! thank you very much!!

But I need to know how can I do it?

Because I nedd to get my license.

As I mentioned you need to meet state requirements and you can find link to state BON's here State BON and each state will be different
