If i pursue medicine then i will not work as a nurse, i would want to work as a doctor. From what i have read and researched most schools of medicine in the philippines are accepted in california. Like i said it is just a thought for now, lets see how things go, i still have a few years left before graduating as a nurse.

The reason they wanted to become an RN from being a PH doctor was that they didn't want the higher liabilities of a US doctor and didn't want to deal with longer hours required of an MD.

Yea, you still have the time to make sure the PH medical school's curriculum matches the CA Board for doctors, as you see what happened to so many PH nursing students have all assumed there would be no problems in getting our courses approved by the CA BON and look at how much time so many of us have wasted if you want to work in CA or the other 12 States. So I would check every so often, but keeping informed from the CA Board of doctors about the minimum required courses needed and that you and your school are at 101% complying with each and every course, as you can see, it only takes one mistake and it's not going to happen.

There are still a lot of PH nursing students (more so from this year to all those prior) who still don't know that applying into CA is very very slim at getting their application approved for the ATT.
