Saudi Arabia Nursing???

Does anyone know anything about nursing in Saudi Arabia? I have heard stories about grand sums of money (tax free), lots of vacation time and friendly people (patients) to work with. Is there any truth in this? I still have 10 months of school left and then at least one year of PICU experience I would like :monkeydance:

to get but I have always been one to plan ahead.

I would hate to make a commitment and not have some idea of what to expect. Any information would be very helpful.

I just got an email from a recruitment office in Europe; eur 39 000/year, 48 working week, in Riyadh, tax free, accommodation included.

Did it in 1994-1995 but I'd be hesitant now. The world has changed.

sorry to bring back an old thread...

i'm interested in going to saudi to work but am intrigued by the discrimmination.

i'm a chinese male born, educated and trained in canada.

how does that look to them? will they discriminate against me because i'm chinese by blood or will my training be enough?
