Phil nurse inquiring about NZ & AUS application

Good day! Thank God for this website. To the moderators and the people who keep this site up and running, I give you my utmost appreciation. There are only a handful of websites for nurses globally that is as helpful as this one.

Anyway, I would like to apply for work in NZ or Australia. However, my friend who applied to NZ already says that he needed to shell out almost 200,000 pesos for it. Is it really that expensive? How about working in Australia? How do I apply for that? Do they accept people with less than a year of clinical experience?

Any reply would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Hi,

I dont know who toldyou it would cost 200,000 peso but accoding to the currency converter i used thats almost $6,000 NZD!!!!! thats ridiculous, It should only cost you a fraction of that , a few hundred NZD at the most. Here are the details about registering for NZ:

www.nursingcouncil.org.nz

Australia have their own registration boards depending on what state you want to work in.

I am sure you will not find it difficult to get a job in NZ or AU, its just getting registered which may take some time.

All the best
