Nurse from Saudi Arabia, internship in UK.

Hello,

Could you please tell me, is it possible for practical nurse from Saudi Arabia (bachelor nurse diploma) came to UK and work at NHS? I'm looking for some internship program or assistant job. Do exist any other way to work in healthcare except healthcare assistant? Is it possible to came and start some work or I'll need to go for some courses or study?

I'll need some time to get ready to RN and would like to taking additional experience on that time.

Maybe someone know about internship program at the hospitals.

I'll be a really appreciate for any help.

Would you be looking for a work permit for the UK? We don't have internship programs or never did. It is hard enough for newly qualified nurses in the UK to look for work as it is. In any way to work as a nurse you need to meet NMC requirements and if trained outside the UK then the process has just changed

Could you please tell me do you have some programs like "work and study" in UK?

I'm just looking for a way to start my nurse work in your country.

not that I am aware of. Most UK post grad study is either part time and employer requires you to do the course for example you are adult trained and doing an 18 month Paediatric course because you are working in an area that requires Paed training or distant learning/done in your own time

The tests are new to the UK and aimed at nurses from outside the EU so seriously doubt there will be any courses that will help

Is it possible to come to UK for the clinic training? I mean some practice after the finish of the academical part of study. I planned to come to UK after the receive my diploma, but now I'm thinking about earlier arriving. How do you think is it real to come and get some training? Is universities helping with it or I'll need to looking for training by myself?

I would suggest, if you have the money, completing a 1-year course at a university here, such as:

BSc Professional Nursing Studies

King's College London - Programmes for international students

But international fees are very expensive, and you also already need to be an RN in your home country I think.

Otherwise, if you have a work permit for the UK, you could work as a HCA.

Are you looking just to study or to work as a nurse, either way just trying to read your post highlights that your written English isn't great, I would advise you work or written and spoken English first otherwise studying here is going to be extremely challenging and working impossible as you won't pass the requirements for registration.
