New UK overseas application

Well, I just found out that the UK NMC is possibly changing their procedure and requirements for overseas nurses trying to register. Here's a link to the FAQ about it:

Looks like they're not accepting new applications right now and are possibly imposing further requirements on those already registered. I am super curious as to what they're thinking of changing! My hope is that they would get rid of the IELTS for those with BSNs conducted entirely in English, but something tells me that it's not gonna happen...

Anyone else see this? Know anything?
