You do know that the NMC are currently investigating this for all OS nurses and if you are found to have withheld information on your application you would be struck off the register.
Are you aware that part of the application process with the NMC includes them doing their own investigations with other boards. They will process your application but continue investigating and if they have found you have withheld information they will strike you off the register??
The NMC do not take in to account self study hours because the universities cannot evidence that you have actually done it they just assume. Unfortunately this is affecting the majority of applicants from US Canada Australia.. They are not even getting a maximum ONP we are just getting rejected. The minimum decision letter is 20 plt plus 3 months supervised practise. If you are from Canada US or Aus you would be lucky to get 20 plt plus 12 months ONP.
Applicants wishing to register with the NMC must have a minimum 1000 theory hours and 1267 clinic hours. This does not include self study hours. If you don't have it, you won't get on. It's really that simple now.
