there are probably many schools but for immigration purposes you need to be a RN which is probably why you haven't had any answers as most foreign nurses on here are RN's going through the process

Sure there are schools, but you cannot work in the US with the LPN license, you must have the RN after your name.

So, why would you want to go that route? You would not be able to work anywhere with that certification and license.

well, browsing through www.allnursingschool.com, apparently there's such thing as LVN-BSN through the internet (?) but i don't know how legit that is (can anyone explain?)

I'm wondering if it is required that i work/get more clinical experience first prior to applying to lvn-bsn, whether it's online or in campus program?

How much is the average LVN programs in Southern Cali? (that's where my relatives are).

Or even if it's out of California, how can i find LVN/LPN schools that offers student visa services?

Thanks for the responses

where are you at the moment? What visa do you have to allow living in the US as a legal immigrant. If you are looking as using the LPN for immigrant it just can't be done so not even worth going through this. If relatives are sponsering you it will take years so may as well do RN if living abroad or do RN as international student in the US and then go through AOS

Your post sounds confused to me. Are you an LVN or are you considering school? If school, why would you do LVN then LVN-BSN instead of just doing a BSN? Particularly if you are looking for a work visa at the end, just do the RN -either in your own country then go to the US (cheaper probably) or in the US.

Online schools are usually legit, just make sure it's an accredited school.
