Thank you... actually I'm planning to take IELTS here. Its cheaper. Its too bad that I have to go to Canada to be able to take the CRNE... That's the problem, I dont have any relatives in Canada!!!! So I think I would really have a hard time going there if I dont have an agency..

hi i'm also clueless at the start thanks for this informative site and all the posts by merely reading all the posted replies would already be a great help for us who are just starting.....

You have to contact the licensing body in the province of your choice. It in Ontario, it would be the College of Nurses of Ontario. They will be able to assess your educational and practical experiences/background and will be able to provide you with a clear list of steps in obtaining your RN/RPN designation. For the most accurate information, it is best to go through them. In Winnepeg, I would imagine it would be the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba

Moved to the International forum,This is an old thread.

There are many many threads discussing how to meet both Provincial college of RN requirements as well as immigration requirements for Canada.

Suggest a good read

Sounds like the Royal Canadian Institute of Technology are liars and frauds. The Canadian provincial regulating bodies are the only ones who have authority to issue an interim licence to nurses.

You do not need an agency, to apply to a provincial regulatory body and immigration Canada, you just need the ability to read and follow English instructions.
