i need help/info for moving!!

hi everybody,

im a US nurse looking to move out of US to go to aruba.

i was hoping someone could give me some help or information. i will be moving soon(i live in the US now) to aruba as my fiance will be attending med school. is it possible for me to keep my RN license and work over there? do i need a green card or a visa or both?....and how do i get these things? ive looked at tons of websites and i havent found any answers for myself. they speak english there right? is a 2yr degree accepted over there or do i need a BSN? any and all info would be absolutely wonderful. and if anyone knows how to look up salary info that would be great too!!!

To be honest not sure but you may have to meet their nursing requirements and depends what demand for RN's are. You may also need some sort of working visa.. Sorry not much help but wanted to wish you good luck

Aruba is not part of the US, so you will need to go thru their licensing process. And you will require a visa that will permit you to work. Aruba is a Dutch colony, nothing at all to do with the US. A tourist visa to visit there will not give you pemission to work. Your license in the US, is just for the US. You will need their license to work there.

Green cards are permanent residency for the US, they are not for other countries.

I suggest that you contact their equivalent of a BON as soon as possilbe.
