for GREEN CARD

Tomorrow i am going to washington to talk to the senetors. They are about to pass a immigration law and i will talk to them personally. I am going to ask them to make a law that RNs would get their green card easily and extention of OPT cards. I was told that if the hospitals send more letters it would help a lot. So if you are a foreign nurse and need green card contac to your HR and ask them to send immidiate letter to local representives concerning sponsorships and green card for RNs

Sorry, but the OPT is not going to get extended, never has been granted for more than a year for any profession and do not expect to see it happen now.

Green cards are petitioned, they are not sponsored.

And there are no bills that are expected to pass in the near future, not sure where you are getting your information from.

Also be aware that with Christmas next week, you are not going to find many in there offices that will even talk to you. Sorry, but just not going to happen.

And be careful for what you wish for, up until a few years ago, it was a requirement that you leave the US after your training. The OPT was meant to only give someone a year of experience in their field before they returned to their country.

There is no requirement that you must be permitted to remain in the US when you complete your training.
