hello:
I live in British Columbia,Canada.I currently hold a LPN license.Recently I have enrolled in Excelsior College's ADN program.I am led to believe that the only Province in Canada that excepts RN grads from Excelsior is Ontario.I would appreciate any feedback on this.

You may get the best answer from the College of Nursing in Ontario. Have a look at their site especially this page.

Hello....
I actually enrolling in Excelsior college and im so glad to finally here about another Canadian enrolling!! I completed 5 semesters of a 6 semester program and I am so thankful for this school. The ADN program prepares you to become licensed for New York state and since you just enrolled you will not be eligible to sit for the Ontario exams since they changed the requirement for this province to having a BSN for entry to practice. As long as you dont mind moving to the states to practice then Excelsior is an excellant choice.

Hello everyone,
I am looking for someone to take on the excelsior rn program journey with me. Is there anyone out there who has gone this route? I'm a Registered Respiratory Therapist. I'm starting in 2 weeks.

To be licensed as an RN in Ontario you would need to have your BSN..

There used to be a couple of posters from BC who were going this route BUT they lived closed to the border and were planning on commuting across to WA state to work after grad.
Haven't posted in years.
