Are you an IEN or were you educated locally? If you are an IEN, I recommend you contact care4nurses for support and advice. If your were educated locally, I recommend you contact one of the teachers from the nursing school you attended for advice, you are highly motivated to succeed and it seems you just need a little guidance.
kindest regards

I'm not IEN... i'm educated locally.
i just wondering if i should waste 50 bugs just to get a hand score of the exam
but i'm like how often will scantron make mistake...
I heard June 2010 will have short answer also,
so i'm thinking short answer might have a higher chance of success
because i'm not good at M/C at all..
but another thing is that i will be facing another format which i'm not use to
I did email my consolidation teacher and my nursing school
but no one reply me ..
thanks dishes for ur advice.

Interesting, yk2009. Your use of language suggests English is not your first. That may be contributing to your difficulties.
yes, english is my second...
I guess i should wait until June 2010

Hello,
I am just wondering if anyone knows about the CRNE prep course in Toronto.
I will be writing the CRNE next Feb, 2010 and was looking for some RN review courses. When I contact CNO for their inputs, they suggested me to take prep course provided by MOHAWK college in Hamilton which would cost about $374.00. I did a lot of research on these prep courses and happened to find another institution in Toronto but I'm kind of hesitate to take this course since the fee is way too expensive, $1,800. On their flyer, it said 100% Results oriented to RN exam review and help you succesfully pass the exam. It sounds just right to me but I don't know if I really should consider taking this course (Is it safe to take this course because I'll be investing a lot of money for this).
I know some of you might suggest me not to take any prep course but just study the materials recommended by CNO but for me this is not the first time writing the CRNE. I really need to know my areas of weakness and change my studying strategies. Can anyone took the prep course before writing the CRNE and passed (or found the course really helpful) give me some advice? Anyone heard of such institution that I've mentioned above?
Please please help me here!
Thank you.
I got the same information as you, but hamilton is just too faraway from my home.
I emailed mohawk and they said the classes are held everyweek and will only in hamilton campus. I heard the UofT prep course was good, but they only offer in Sept. I know that some people took the PASS crne prep course. They are opening a new session soon in Jan.

The University of Alberta is in Edmonton. There's a popular misconception circulating that Calgary is the capital city of Alberta (especially in Calgary =) ), but it isn't. Yahy might want to contact either the University of Calgary or Mount Royal College.
Awwwww!! Now you've gone & dissapointed me!! Here I was happily deluded into believing Cow Town was the city in Alberta !!:D:D:jester:
Not that I'd move mind you

Hi
I want to sell my CRNE prep guide, does anyone know how. I was trying amazon and ebuy but couldn't find the book in the catalogs.
For Yahy If you are internationally trained and from Edmonton you can contact the Bredin Institute 780-425-3730, they have free CRNE prep.
