Yeah, but at least they looked competitive this time Bloke -- hard to believe it's the same team that played the other day, is it??

Fair play though Bloke, Brett Lee was outstanding..... whipped the carpet out from under us when we thought we had a chance.

Yes Brett Lee did a great job as did the rest of the team.
It was a great game to watch
A lesser team may have given up. even under extreme pressure
The team just raised the standard and deserved the win.
Brett Lee has been a good bowler in the past but in this
Final he has raised his standard and matured into a great
Bowler.
A true never say die Aussie attitude

Roll on the world cup
I was a bit worried about Bevan I am glad to see his injury will be OK - l was a little worried that he might need to have some 'help' in the area - l was wandering if any of us would offer to may be massage it better!!!! - Oh that was a little naughty.
Good on Warnie - l am glad that he decided to choose when to exit - to be able to recognize his limitations - and that he will be around for not only the cup but for the test cricket --Maybe by the next lot of tests we can have taught these non cricket lovers what they are missing
Roll on world cup it should be interesting - but we shouldnt count any chickens yet - so as to speak - l can bet the Kiwis may have some thing to say as well as the Poms

You poms have to give us one thing.....
For a country so small we have some great sporting heroes
the swimming team, Lleyton, the Scud... etc....
Cricket is just a game... but a bloody good one!

it's true Australia has produced some fantastic athletes. Not sure about Brett Lee. I think the barmy army got it right, his action looks a little suspect to me.
I hear that Warne said that the Barmy army should get some new songs. I went to a test match at Lords a few years ago and it seemed to me that many of the spectators there had vocabularies limited to three words; Aussie, oi and beer.

......do I detect a slight twinge of JEALOUSY, J.?? Just because the poms can't produce anyone who can bowl anywhere near as fast.....
