Moved to the International forum

Is there any reason why you are asking for an exemption? the course is only approx $30-40 and can be obtained online.

I just need to endorse to NY fast.
I would like to take the exam when I get there.
And I wouldn't be working with children for a while.
How do I apply for this?
Thanks

It doesn't matter if you are working with children or not every RN has to complete the course. It is online, you probably can complete it in one sitting on the computer.

Unless you go to the state office and apply it can take awhile for your license to endorse especially if they have to send away for your transcripts.

There is no fast way to endorse, You still have to do CVS and that takes approx 6-8 months so still have plenty of time to sit the courses online

I am already done with CVS two years ago.
I already passed my application for NY but then I passed the wrong application.
My application in CA expired this month, I was only given another year to give them my SSN, so i need to apply to get a license, and the logical choice would be NY.

In that case I would contact the NY BON but generally the courses need to be completed before a license is issued and should only take a couple of hours online cost I think is about $40 approx each. The decision really is with them

Also you are applying for initial license since you do not have a license. You are applying for initial license. I would follow the directions for the initial license not endorsement.
I don't think you are understanding the reason for the test, a RN no matter where they work are a mandatory reporter.

Even working with the elderly you could be placed in situations where you need to report a child abuse. Example, a patient confides that they are concerned about their grandchild being at risk, you would need to take the appropriate steps. Every state has a different standard. Since you think this course is tied to pedi, it seems like you need this course more than ever.

In summary, you do not have a license to endorse, you want to forward the results of the NCLEX.

I know I need the course, I just dont need it now.
Even if it will only take an hour, Im still in the philippines.
My priority date is 2006.
It will take me years before I can go there then I might need to take another course just to refresh what I learned.
It would be just a waste of money for me at this time.
YUp, sorry for the term "endorse", I will be asking CA BON to forward my NCLEX result to NY BON.
Thanks =)
