Is it possible to Work initially without CRNE or not? If it is possible, then how that could be done and how are the Job prospects,Salary or wages, how long can they work without the licence.??

Kindly help or suggest..

You could work without CRNE on a temp license but that just means you have met the provincial requirements and just have to sit exam. Oct is the last time the CRNE will be done in Canada. From Jan 2015 it will be NCLEX.

As I mentioned in my other thread check out the CIC website as options are mentioned their on the different routes to live and work in Canada. Wages will depend on province you plan on living and working in

Specializes in NICU, PICU, PCVICU and peds oncology.

If you don't mind me asking, why would you think it would be possible to work in Canada as a nurse without passing some sort of exam?

Job prospects for IENs are quite poor these days. Nursing is not on the list for employing foreign workers. Additionally, there have been major changes in the way work permits are being allocated due to certain segments of the work force's blatant abuse of the temporary foreign workers program. Limits have been placed on the number of foreign workers allowed to work for employers and in areas if higher unemployment there will be NO work permits at all.

Thank You Silverdragon102!!

Dear Notready4primetime,

The reason I asked to work without CRNE is a recruitment agency assured job for me in Canada without the CRNE as a Nursing assistant.. So that's the reason I asked from experts on this thread..

Thank You very much for the suggestion.

A nursing assistant is NOT a nurse. It is the entry level position without any real formal education. Clean, feed, walk the patient.

Notready4primtetime nailed it.
