Australian student visa can be changed to a working while remaining in AU?

Hello everyone,

Please I need advice especially from nurses in Australia.

My sister in law in to undertake a bridging course in Australia this July through a STUDENT VISA.

She is planning to work after obtaining her registration in the NBWA.

Is this possible? that after she finished her bridging course, could she have her student visa changed to a working visa while remaining in Australia?

Supposing an employer is willing to hire her when she is registered already.

Please help us on this... we really are not so sure of this.

If she passes the bridging program, then she will be able to get licensed there and remain there provided that she gets hired by an employer.

This is how things are done down there.

Hi! How is the bridging course according to your sister-in-law. I'm applying for the same thing to. I am waiting for the letter from the NMBWA to arrive regarding taking the bridging program. Any feedback or information you can share? Thanks!

--is this the same case if i were to use a business short stay visa for a 3 month initial registration program? 456 convert to working?

Can i apply for an extension just in case i need more time to finish my course? Is registration automatic once i pass?
