  1. --is this the same case if i were to use a business short stay visa for a 3 month initial registration program? 456 convert to working? Can i apply for an extension just in case i need more time to finish my course? Is registration automatic once i pass?
  2. --------- HELLO! I AM IN THE PROCESS OF APPLYING MY 456 BUSINESS SHORT STAY. MY CONCERN IS THAT MY COURSE IS EXACTLY 3 MONTHS STARTING FEB 16. WHEN SHOULD I BE THERE, IF I GO EARLIER, IM CONSUMING SOME DAYS OFF OF MY COURSE. CAN I APPLY FOR AN EXTENSION? WITH A 456 VISA, MUST I GO HOME AFTER THE EXPIRATION? OR CAN I HAVE IT CONVERTED? SINCE MY COURSE IS 3 MONTHS, YOU SAID I CAN BE GRANTED A BUSINESS LONG STAY? -WHY NOT A WORKING? AFTER FINISHING MY COURSE, AM I AUTOMATICALLY REGISTERED IN VIC? OR DO I HAVE TO APPLY AGAIN TO NBV? IM SORRY IM LOST. PLS PM ME. THANK YOU:yeah:
  3. can i ask for help. I was accepted for a pre registration course 3 months in melbourne in mt.alexander hospital. My commencement is feb 16 2009. Now i am to apply for an appropriate visa. When i went to via centre (jan 5), since my course in a hospital is just 3 months- they said i can apply for a business short stay visa. I finished my medical today at nationwide (jan 5). Problem is- since my course is exactly 3 months, once i step in aussie my time is running, isnt there any allowance for that visa? Can i extend my visa while im there? Can i convert that eventually to working visa? Or must i go home after the expiration?- going home would entail more expenses and then a new set of application must be lodged again? If i were to opt for an occupational trainee visa-how long would the processing take? Do you think i could make it just before feb 16 commencement? - considering that im done with my medical already. Thank you very much. I would higly appreciate your help towards helping me get the most apporporate visa. Business short stay 456 seems fast since its just 5 woking days plus 3 weeks medical- except for the fact that it is exactly 3 months, im not sure if i can extend, renew, do i have to go home immediately after or can i convert it. I dont even know what would be the date of my arrival since that would also consume my 90 days which is supposed to be exactly alotted for my course.
  4. how much would a health insurance cost in melbourne and how do you apllyu for one? online? i am being required to avail of one? plus would you know how long would the processing be if i were to apply for a student visa by this december? how long would it take if i were to apply for an occupational trainee visa?

  10. hi. ETEA was also one of the accredited facilities for me to undertake their pre registration program for overseas qualified nurses. are you a filipino? i am in the process of applying. i do hope i still have enough time to make it come feb 9 commencement date of ETEA. are you also aiming for feb 9? maybe you could help me by since you had a head start. regarding the visa part. may i pass my application without a visa yet? how does that go? what do i apply for? isnt there any assitance offered by ETEA? THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
