Passed all exams and still nothing...

hello, my sister in law is the same as you and she is working for almost four years now. Finally, she grew tired. All the money spent on exams goes to waste and all you got is wait.... If you work as a nurse, why do you focus on a country that does not need you? Look for another country who values your experience and provide you decent pay. If you remain there you only ruin the years you invested in studying and taking exams. All your efforts are wasted. Go home, work and search for opportunities in other places. If you are diligent enough, you will notice others offer good rates, better place and much more safe when it comes to security. Goodluck!
  2. Hello everyone! Just wondering how much is the pay rate in Australia for a Patient Care Assistant and a Registered Nurse? Just for information and help to my sister in law... Thanks a lot for your help!

CHED orders 561 Clinical RLE hrs to BSN Degree

I think what needs to be done is that those schools who have opened should for the last three years should be closed. I also graduated way back before the demand for nurses in the US even opens and back then we were only one section. I was under a four year program and believe me, I learned a lot of skills and even know a lot of procedures than the nurses in the ward at that time. It doesn't have to mean that recent nurses are of poor quality, its the school were students are studying that were producing poor quality nurses.
  6. Hello everyone, Please I need advice especially from nurses in Australia. My sister in law in to undertake a bridging course in Australia this July through a STUDENT VISA. She is planning to work after obtaining her registration in the NBWA. Is this possible? that after she finished her bridging course, could she have her student visa changed to a working visa while remaining in Australia? Supposing an employer is willing to hire her when she is registered already. Please help us on this... we really are not so sure of this. Thanks.:redbeathe

  8. Hello, My sister in law will be leaving for Australia soon, does anybody knows how much is the usual rent for a decent house in Western Australia (Perth). This would really help a lot in deciding how much she should set aside for such when she reaches Australia. Thanks...:redbeathe

    Is bridging alright?

Hi everyone, my sister in law will be going to Australia and has to undergo a bridging course. I want to ask all you know especially overseas nurses who have taken bridging courses as to what experiences you can share and advise in order for my sister in law to be better prepared. She will be traveling on her own. Thanks to you all.....

    Registration !!!!

Hello, at the moment I am applying to NBWA and most nurses that have training overseas, they would require you to take a bridging course which is from 6 months to a year. Hope this helps.

  13. Hello everyone, Please help me and give me advice on my problem. Based on the May visa bulletin, my PD just became current but I have a big problem. Last year, my atty., asked me to send new set of documents because NVC asked him to reconstitute the documents and since I am getting married I need to send him a new set of DS230 form as well. Because of tragic circumstances, my marriage was moved to early of this year and I just got my marriage certificate. I am just about to send the documents to my atty., when I found out about the May visa bulletin. What will happen to my petition since I was not able to submit my DS230 documents? Would I be bypassed and need to wait in line again? Since as far as I know my file might not yet brought to the embassy because of the reconstitution of documents? If I might be scheduled for an interview, will my wife get left behind? Please miss Suzanne, help me..... I really need info on this.....

    Foreign Nurses Education

Hello, Thanks for responding. I appreciate it very much. Yes I have completed possible exams (NCLEX, CGFNS, IELTS) and holds all documents (VISA SCREEN, CES) needed just actually waiting for retro to be lifted. I know that there might be trouble with this that's why I openly asked about them. Giving a huge sum of money without something on your part is not easy. I actually did some researches on my own and h1b cap exemption states that it must be non-profit, associated with university. They claimed that they are associated with a university but I cant find the name of it on their offer. That's why if anybody have some experiences and issues with them please share.... Thanks everyone....
