Yay Heather! So what block did you choose?

I chose block 2 :-) I also like the idea of block 1 or 2 because of the early Friday. And I also like the possibility of doing my clinicals at St. Vincents or IU Health!

Thanks for the encouraging words. This is tense, especially with everyone registering for classes already. Hopefully, I will hear soon, and see you guys around this January!

I bet! Well just try to remember that no news is good news in this case!

crdavis- Have you received any confirmation that the SON received your acceptance to the program? I can't help being nervous that for some reason they didn't get the fax. I know it is silly, but I wish they could send us some verification that we are now "officially" in the program and not just conditionally admitted. I guess I just need some reassurance!

leslie027- Any luck with your acceptance letter yet? I am pulling for you!

I haven't recieved anything back, but I'm sure its fine. I mailed mine in the mail b/c I have issues with faxes. I would call and verify their confirmation. It can't hurt anything.

I am so excited for you leslie027!!! Congratulations! Now you can do the happy dance with us! I am still so excited! I emailed the counselor at IUSON today to make sure they received my fax too, but I haven't heard anything yet. If I don't hear anything by tomorrow I will probably call too!

Do either of you live in the Columbus area? It would be nice to carpool with someone, due to the length of the drive. Has anyone been given any advice on which hospital to choose for clinicals?

Yay!! I am sooo excited for you! I knew you would get it! I actually live in Nineveh, IN, which is just west of Camp Atterbury and I am excited to know someone live near me! It seems like everyone lives North of Indy! So we should try to work something out with carpooling. Maybe we could meet at the Outlet Mall and go from there?! I choose my scheduling block based on the times rather then the hospital because I read on here somewhere that all the hospitals were good as far as the clinical goes. I choose block 2 because of being done early on Fridays. If you want to carpool it would be great to be on the same schedule, but its up to you! Congrats again!!

Thanks! I like the outlet mall carpooling idea. I was thinking either block 1 or 2 anyway. I am totally in the dark on hospital choices. For some reason I can't register for classes yet. I have to wait for the 14th. I think it has something to do with the fact that IUPUC was my home school. If there are spots left in block 2 by the time I register, I might just choose it. I'm so excited!
