I got my letter a week ago and just found this website! I am so excited about starting in the Spring! Heather, are you taking the CPR class in December? I have my CPR cert for regular CPR, but not "Professional Rescuer" so I'm going to take the one the SON is giving. Just wondering!

I am still waiting to hear from the accelerated program at IUPUI for Spring 2012. You recieved your acceptance already ?! I thought they weren't going out until December. Congratulations not the less. I'm eagerly waiting. Could I ask what your program GPA was? If that's to personal, I apologize

Congratulations crdavis! I am also so so so excited!! I was eager to get started so I got my CPR certification this past summer and it is good until May 2013. I already sent in my acceptance fax and completed the background check! Now just waiting to sign up for classes! Any idea which block you're going to chose?

Leslie, I am surprised that you haven't received your letter yet. I believe they sent them out on October 20th. What was your GPA?

I have my CPR cert too, but I don't have the "Professional Rescuer" or "Healthcare Provider" so I'm going to take the one they are doing. Since I am already an IUPUI student I was able to already sign up for classes through OneStart and I choose block 2 because of getting done early on Fridays. Being at campus late on a Friday really stinks, so I would rather get up early then stay late. What side of town do you live on?

Really? You were already able to sign up for classes! I should do that too, I had no idea that if you are already an IUPUI student you could sign up early! I don't want to be late on Fridays either. Thanks for the heads up!

It doesn't say that you can't sign up early, so I did. I was taking the delayed sign up dates as if I were a brand new student to IUPUI because the SON would have to get you in the system. But since I am not new and it let me so I did! I'm sure that if they didn't want people to register early they would have blocked anyone from registering. True?

3.98. This should be high enough right? I was under the impression that it was entirely based on gpa.

That should definately be high enough! That is awesome! I'm sure you will get in! They might not have sent everyone's out. I wouldn't worry too much! The only reason I can see is if things didn't transfer right or something else. I have a friend that is already in the SON for accelerated and he told me the longer I wait, the better b/c they notify people that don't get in first. So I wouldn't worry too much, the website does say December.

Yeah that's a great GPA, you are for sure are getting in!! I just signed up for my classes too! So exciting!
