No, I haven't heard anything...I haven't even received a statement showing that I am registered for classes or anything!! I usually would have received something by now. I wonder if their new "system" is throwing everything for a loop! :no:

This is almost as bad as waiting for our letters from school in regards to acceptance/denial.

I will be SOOOOOOOO glad when I am done. :banghead:

If I'm not mistaken, the financial aid awards are running behind this year. According to my financial aid office, it will probably be at least the first week of August. If you filled out your FASFA, then they will notify you of what you are eligible for. All you have to do is accept it or not.

I don't mean to complain but does it seem like everything @ IT is more difficult than it needs to be?? It just seems like everything related to that school is so much drama! I will definitely update when I hear something about my fall FA...keep in mind I'm still waiting for my SUMMER fa!!

At my Oregon school they are telling me that they are struggling to try and and get award letters out by mid September (we start Sept 29) which sucks no knowing what your getting.....when you have $1000 plus in books and supplies.... :banghead:

We were told at out ASN nursing Orientation that they have change the way they do all the FA, and that is the reason for the delay. I got all excited about When I logged on CC a little while ago. It had new info in the FA area but it still said nothing when I clicked on the link.

Uggh!!!

Good news is most of the books are up on the bookstore site.

I'm still waiting too. Bleh. When I went in to the FA office at Lawrence, they told me late July. Late July is here now so come on already!!! LOL

I talked with FA today and she stated that for B-Town, the grants ( ie Frank O'Bannon etc grants) are starting to post on our Campus Connect as of last night BUT............they ahve no idea when they will get the Stafford loan awards out.

I'm in the same boat!

I don't work, have no money, made WAY too much last year so my grant money is zip and I am relying on Stafford loans to pay for books/tuition/life..............and we we sit.

I think it's so funny. They were real fast to send me a bill for $1,300, but I have no way to pay it until someone over there gets on the ball! I have bought most everything (minus tuition) out of my pocket so far and I'm flat broke. I need that financial aid to put the money back in the bank. I'm stressing!

I got my first half a couple weeks ago but I'm still waiting for the school to cut the check for the second half of my summer Stafford loans. Who knows what their problem is. Same reason they can't get anything done in a timely fashion, I guess :) I went ahead and paid fall tuition from the first summer loans I got just in case we don't get fall loans until way past start of the semester, or....ever.
