Has anyone who applied to Lurie Children's for the August/October New Grad RN positions heard anything back yet? I know the applications opened up on May 1st.

I have not but when I called they said we should hear this week, last week was a bit crazy with the holiday :)

I'm almost positive that there was an OR position added later. I had already submitted my 3 choices and remember being bummed because that was my first choice as well and went back on the website and saw that it was added. Plus with the FAQ they say that the OR is a 9 month orientation.

I saw the bit about orientation for the OR, and I didn't check later because I didn't think they would add any positions so I can't comment on if they added a position later in the OR. If they did, bummer, I would have really wanted to apply.

Anyone else starting on transplant in August?:)

@Panda92 I'm sorry I missed your post! HR was totally fine with me starting in October. I applied for October because I don't graduate until August, so it wasn't possible for me to start before September at the earliest. So I'll be starting Oct. 9! Any other PICU new grads?
