Anyone waiting to get into Moraine Valley's nursing program for Fall 2010?

Hi,

I just applied for the March 15th deadline at Moraine Valley Community College and was wondering if anyone else is on pins and needles like I am? I just decided about 5 months ago to apply, so I hurried up and became a CNA (I took a 3 week class), took my pre-reqs, but I only had time to take the TEAS test once :crying2: Overall I got a 94, but since MVCC only cares about science and math I got an 82%. Did anyone else calculate their scores? If so, do you mind sharing it? I think I am right on the borderline where it can go either way. I wish I had a higher score, but unfortuantely I do not. I was just curious...

$900 for class

$60 CPR class

$60 state exam

$15 for background check

$ for scrubs, stethoscope, bp cuff, white shoes and book

Thanks for replying. Hopefully I can start the next class session.

;)

Can any of you tell me what hospitals your clinicals were at and what times did you guys start? (morning or evening) Thanks! I am waiting to see if I made the cut for Fall 2012, the wait is brutal!! I applied 2 days before the deadline so I know I will not have to wait as long as you, but it is still quite brutal :) I hope I get in!!

Hey there have you heard anything back yet I applied for the fall 2012 session to and I've been stalking the mail man everyday!

I have too!! Im glad to hear im not the only one without a letter yet...I just hope they are taking their sweet time :) How did you do on the TEAS?!!

I got a 61 with the three extra points I actually called yesterday they sent the letters out already she said they should come any day now! So hopefully today is the day!

Yes, I really hope so!! Good luck and I hope we are both in the program ;)

Thanks good luck to you as well I'll keep you updated if I hear anything!

I got in!!! What a relief :))

I just checked the mail and no letter still!!!!! What did the letter say to you? How did you do on the TEAS? congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just so I can have an idea what scores they took.. If you don't mind sharing with us. :)

Of course :) My ranking score was 64, which included an 80% in math and a 77.1% in science plus 3 points for A&P I :) I hope you guys get in too!! The letter just said that I was accepted in the program and gave the info for orientation and uniform fittings. Also there was a card to turn in that tells them we would like the seat we are offered...hope that helped!! I, like may others on this site, have been reading posts for the past 2 years when I started my journey and they have helped me every step of the way!!
