  1. Do not underestimate Moraine. It is hard! I have my BA already and decided to go back for nursing, and that was so much easier! Nursing is unlike anything I've ever studied before and I really cannot do the program any justice by trying to describe it. All I can say is that when they tell you at orientation that you'll have 40 hours of homework a week, they are not exaggerating. You will have no life while you are in school, other than working a few days a week. And I heard that will change by the second semester.
  2. I took it over Christmas break at Health Restoration Academy of Medical Arts on 95th Street, just a little west of Pulaski. (Right by Target) It was a 3 week program designed for Christmas break, but there might be other accelerated programs that she offers. I'd call anyway.
  3. I guess we're in the same class then. Congrats!
  4. Nevermind....I guess an 82 was good enough because I GOT ACCEPTED!!!
  5. Well, I applied to Moraine Valley and the deadline was also March 15th. I'm expecting a letter next week (I hope). And it better say Congratulations!
  6. Hi, I just applied for the March 15th deadline at Moraine Valley Community College and was wondering if anyone else is on pins and needles like I am? I just decided about 5 months ago to apply, so I hurried up and became a CNA (I took a 3 week class), took my pre-reqs, but I only had time to take the TEAS test once Overall I got a 94, but since MVCC only cares about science and math I got an 82%. Did anyone else calculate their scores? If so, do you mind sharing it? I think I am right on the borderline where it can go either way. I wish I had a higher score, but unfortuantely I do not. I was just curious...
