Specializes in Cardiac/Vascular & Healing Touch.

outside of Denver area. go to the Healing Touch website @ http://www.healingtouch.net for most up to date info & cost of classes.

:) I am a holistic health practioner (MA in field), LPN, and just 28 nursing credits short of RN. Soon to start a radio show on Health and Vitality with University radio that reaches N. GA and beyond. Any marketing suggestions for community of my services? I am new so attending everything to get the word out. I am also seeking the most expedient way to get referrals from dr. or social worker or?? for pampered temporary live in home care post operation/hospital discharge (24-36 hrs.) I met a nurse (RN) who does this and loves being a "best friend!".Thanks for any assist.

Go the the website : healing touch international.com. They offer classes internationally. I just finished Level One...WhaT a beautiful experience.I have even been able to reduce my chronic back pain...imagine what I can do for my patients. P.S. I am looking to purchase a used sturdy, portable massage table....Any one you know of who wants to sell one??? Good luck browsing the web site...thet list classes and locations all over.

I have a master's in hypnotherapy. Mostly I work with smokers, but what I really love is presurgery anxiety in children.

I've also done hypnotherapy for writer's block, self-esteem, and simple phobias.

Weight loss is also a popular area for hypnotherapy -- but at this time I am not working in that area. Hypnotherapy for weight loss only works well if the person has a plan for changing lifestyle (exercise and eating right).

At this point it's just extra money for me and I usually see my clients in their home or office (so it's word of mouth and people I know), but thinking about the next step; I am talking with a person who owns a massage therapy salon to see about using one of their extra rooms.

i currently am a RN in Portland, Oregon....does anybody know of oppurtunities within this area for healing touch RN programs, or other holistic health programs?

How do you get a master's in hypnotherapy?

I'm looking at an MSN at U of Phoenix with emphasis in integrative healthcare. Another nurse where I work is also interested. I guess we're looking more at wellness centers or working with chronically ill people and adding complementery therapies to western medicine, like guided imagry, mindfulness, etc.

Lyuri,

Hello from Georgia. I live in Atlanta (Chamblee). I am a LPN and would someday hope to have my own holistic health and wellness spa. I am always trying to find opportunities to learn, soapmaking, herbal remedy, incense making, nutrition etc. What and where was your training. I currently work for Sunrise Senior Living, and I have found that the only way to get referrals from the Social workers/ Discharge planners is by making friend with them. I stop by occasionally and bring "break" baskets. You may also want to go to some of your assisted living communities in your area. I hope to hear from you.

AmiRah is my name, please to meet all of you.
