Has anyone gotten news from the february Amedd boards.......?

I am really interested in Active duty accessions for Feb. My recruiter says "the scroll" still says "pending" under everyones name?

Yiyeeeeeh, this wait is KILLING me.

What happens if they don't accept you at boards? (I am reserve currently)

I got the call the other day for the Feb 10th boards. Maybe you should ask him/her what dates they are meeting.

Thanks Spawnupe,

My recruiter said they were reviewing 20 applicants this month and they "release the results" all at once.....so everyone is pending now.

Are you reserve or active?

congrats!

Thanks for the information. Didn't know that. Good to know. I am going Active Duty. Not sure about timing for OBLC( ya know.... the NCLEX exam). But I selected Walter Reed as my first choice. Prayfully, I will get that assignment. Yourself?

Hi Spawnupe,

Nice to hear from another Active Duty RN! So, I am confused....You are accepted for commission "prior to taking the nclex"?

Did your packet go to the Jan boards or Feb boards? If is was Feb boards, then I need to speak with my recruiter!

I am accepted into the USAGPAN CRNA (Army) program, Phase I is at Ft. Sam, Phase II we are able to request placement sites, but it is not garenteed. I will request Ft. Sam, Ft. Hood and maybe Ft. Gorden or Bragg........but first I have to Access to Active duty!!! :)

Hello all, this is the first time I have posted, but I have been reading this posts for awhile (good info guys) I too am a hopefully AD ANC candidate/ applicant. As far as I know my packet went to the February board and I haven't heard anything. Yes the wait is horrible! It is so nerve wrecking. I am very interested to hear if people are getting accepted yet.

Hi Emt2RN09,

Thank you for responding. I was thinking I was the only one out there waiting for Feb boards!! :) ...that is a relief

Let me know when you hear back!! Cross fingers.....it won't be too long and we will both get in !!!

good luck,

c.

Yeah thats what I keep telling myself, it wont be long till we are in the sweltering heat of texas doing field training complaining about when we had A/C... HA! So what is the usual acceptance rate? I have heard that "everyone who is qualified gets in" and I have also heard "its really hard to get a slot as an army nurse"... Anyone have experience with this?

So my recruiter just called and said that the February boards did not meet...?

I think they met because, "a facilitator for the USAGPAN" called me yesterday and told me I need a "conditional release" for my packet...(It had "pending" under my name). He made some calls to try to "move things along" and suddenly my recruiter calls today..............

It seems, Regular Army decided I am "WORTHLY TODAY"!!!!!!!

I signed my contract a few hours ago (even WITH the conditional release form 368 still pending)...........

I AM SO EXCITED.

I guess I really am starting the CRNA program in June!! :)

Probably won't have my papers intime for CCC this month, but oh well.

HOOAH !!!
