Hey everyone. I'm applying for a critical care slot for FY 2018 and was wondering if there is anyone else going through the application process?

I think a Facebook group is a great idea. Looking forward to meeting you all. I think our class is 18-04.

Well I wasn't selected. Our only guess is because I only have 1 year of OR experience. Better luck next time I I guess.
I'm sorry to hear that The good news is that next year you will have two years experience. Wishing you the best and if you still want this, don't give up!

Hey all, pretty fresh nurse here.
Applying for the board in November as a Clinical Nurse, have been in the process for almost a year now and finally have my packet submitted. I don't have as much experience as everyone else and reading about it has gotten my hopes down a bit haha, only a year of med/surg practice and currently in outpatient pediatrics, also nearing a year. Still hoping for good news soon!

Found out that I was a #1 non-selectee for thr HPSP scholarship. Kind of stinks especially considering I have 8 years of Active duty Air Force under my belt. Oh well, I reapplied for the board that meets next Wednesday
