Is anyone else on here applying for FY 2015 for Air Force? I'm in the process of applying for the selection board in October 2014 and it would be great to hear from someone else also applying for the end of this year! :)

Hi all, I am constantly reading anything and everything ots to prepare myself in case I get great news soon. I found a website that is for applicants and selects that has a lot of information and discussion forums. You do have to register, but it's super quick and easy. oh man, sorry to hear that.

MY RECRUITER CALLED ME TODAY SAYING THE RESULTS ARE NOT OUT YET BUT ARE STILL EXPECTED TO BE RELEASED MONDAY THE 20TH.

HOW DID U FIND OUT UNOFFICIALLY??

Not sure. My recruiter just called me this morning (while I'm on vacation! What a nice time to find out right?) but he just told me based on some website or something I didn't get selected this time around. Not sure how he knew. I have some glimmer of hope he messed up again and these results aren't real! But I can't do anything now except figure out where I was weak and fix it for next time.

Wow, thats sucks.

If thats the same recruiter u mentioned before id wait till the results are final.

Im glad the one im working with is the opposite of yours cause that just makes this already long process even longer

morgan_porgan I'm so sorry to hear that! My heart sinks because I know exactly how u feel. The results are unofficial though so don't give up. I would find a different recruiter for next year if what u found out is true. I am so very nervous to find out. Remember though that most of us out there had to apply twice and even then still wait forever on a slot. So don't give up if this is your dream. God's time is always perfect, it will happen when it's supposed to.

Hard news. Time to prep for the next round! Go get some certificates and experience. ACLS and the national cert in your field. Be sad for a set amount of time then start building again. It's not over, just delayed.

morgan_porgan, so sorry to hear this. I have been wondering for all of you who are trying to go AD, have you considered going reserves or guard first then AD? Has anyone asked a recruiter? It's probably so much easier that way if it is possible...

I got the phone call today saying The unofficial results were released and I am selected!! Whoop whoop!!

Su1685, did they give you more paperwork to fill out like a 125pg security clearance when they told you?

No he didn't. I was at work when he called me. He said the official results will be published Monday. So I guess he will give me the paperwork after that.
