I mention AN but wouldn't dare share my screen name. That seems like a lot of drama I'd rather not deal with.

If I share something (usually funny) with a coworker I saw on this site, I usually just say I saw it on a "nursing blog." Nobody ever asks for clarification. If they're on here too, they don't want anyone else to know. We share a lot of personal information mostly anonymously here.

Could this be the biggest nursing secret on the internet?

I NEVER mention allnurses to anyone. I refuse to post any cartoons from allnurses on my facebook page (like I see some other friends do). I keep my fingers crossed that no one ever figures me out here because it would severely limit how much I actually post from that point forward. Best just to act like I have never even heard of allnurses.

I've told a few people if they want to spout off (vent) about work at least go to AN where everyone is anonymous. Don't go to Facebook and bad mouth your employer because even though we are NOT Facebook friends, people tell me what's being said. Of course I never tell them my screen name.

I once posted what I thought was anonymously on another site. 7 people at work told me they could tell it was me from the tone.
